Padang Tikar is The Richest

Director of Sampan Kalimantan, Dede Purnawansyah says, his direction will expose the result of identification kind of mangrove in the forest of benang pesisir Padang Tikar, Kubu Raya to get support by directions for keeping and optimizing mangrove forest to be graceful and sustainable.

Mangrove forest is the one of natural potential in Indonesia which is the highest in the world. The result is many kind of mangrove found in the area.

There are 202 kinds of mangrove and from that result, there are 67 kinds of mangrove lived in Kubu Raya.

He hoped, from the findings of this identification, in the future Kubu Raya’s mangrove can be megabiodiversity in Indonesia which is useful as natural laboratory. And the last, their wish it can be useful to enchancement and welfare for people and enviromental balance.” His lid.
